  • Added support for drag to the particle engine
  • Uploaded updates to the art manual.
  • Added shader command rgbsrc camerabumpvector. This allows you to perform bump mapping as if the player was the source of light, which is useful for certain special effects.
  • Updated the evaluation kit with a better installer.
  • Company Christmas bash.
  • Added support for lens flares and glare effects. These are all controlled via scripts like many other things in Cipher, so it is now easy to design complex flare and glare characteristics.
  • Added persistence to the flare effects. It is now possible to set how long it takes them to fade away when the light is obscured.
  • Documented lens flare functions.
  • Improved support for looping sounds in Cipher. Positioned and local looping sounds are now supported.
